The Hidden Village
Deep within the heart of a mysterious dense African jungle. Two communities lived peacefully as one. Amongst the towering trees, thrived a hidden village of miniature people, my ancestors. For generations, they had lived in harmony with this wild. And had figured out how to survive in this untamed environment. They bravely faced the dangers of the jungle with courage and resourcefulness, honed by countless encounters with nature’s untamed forces. And the more challenges they overcame, the braver they became.
A Dream Beyond the Jungle
My dad, the leader of one of the communities always dreamt of a world beyond the confines of the jungle. Whispers of a river said to lead to a haven brimming with possibilities, reached them one day. Fuelling a fire in his spirit, Daddy, being young and adventurous, rallied a section of his community. Their hearts brimming with desperate hope for a future, free from the constant threats, and filled with new possibilities. They embarked on a journey towards an unknown future. With hearts full of determination, navigating the treacherous terrain they had known for so long.
The River of Hope
Finally, they stumbled upon the giant river they’d only heard stories about. It sparkled like a huge ribbon through the jungle, glowing in a way they couldn’t explain. It seemed to be calling them closer. It pulsed with an otherworldly glow. They made boats from big leaves proving their resourcefulness even further. And with a collective leap of faith, courage, and hope, jumped in and let the current take them somewhere new. Trusting to be carried to their new home.
